The spa is a proper retreat in its own right, a 20-metre indoor pool, an indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy pool overlooking the arboretum, five thermal cabins, and eight treatment rooms, all finished in wood, marble, and glass to echo the parkland outside. Every visit opens with a sensory assessment to match the right oils and therapies to you, followed by time in the relaxation lounge or at the skincare mixology bar.

Beyond the spa, the estate's 500 acres of listed parkland are made for slow exploring, walled and kitchen gardens supply both restaurants, and the grounds are as much a part of the stay as anything indoors.
