The Sanctuaries

Forty-two rooms and suites are spread across the main house and its garden wings, each dressed in antiques, Egyptian cotton linens, and the kind of comfort that never feels fussy. Classic and Country Rooms offer an intimate, garden-side introduction to the estate; Manor Rooms and Junior Suites add space and character; and for those who want the full scale of it, the Grand Suites (35–50 sqm) pair a separate sitting room with sweeping views across the parkland and gardens, the Grand Master Suite crowning the collection.

The Restaurants

Dinner here means Restaurant Hywel Jones, the estate's Michelin-starred dining room, chandeliers, candlelight, and a kitchen built entirely around what's grown just beyond the windows. For something easier, the Walled Garden Restaurant serves bright, seasonal plates by day (and a proper Sunday lunch), with a terrace made for lingering.

The Bar

Before or after dinner, the drawing room is where to be light-filled, sumptuous, and made for a quiet cocktail or a glass of something from the cellar. The Walled Garden's bar is the easier daytime version: an aperitif before lunch, or a small bite after the spa.

Spa, Grounds & Equestrian

Lucknam Park's spa is where the pace finally catches up with the setting, treatments, pool, and quiet corners built for real rest. Beyond it, the estate's equestrian centre is one of its signature pleasures: guided rides out across the parkland for every level, from a first lesson to a full morning in the saddle.
